About the Freedom Trail

The ACCORD Freedom Trail Project is ACCORD's greatest tasks to date.  Through the generosity of the Northrop Grumman Corporation, the 3 Phases of the ACCORD Freedom Trail have been launched.  The first ten markers on the trail were unveiled in 2007, followed by ten additional markers in 2008, and eleven markers in 2009. The Annual ACCORD Freedom Trail Luncheon is a fundraising event for continued upkeep and brochures for the Freedom Trail.

Past keynote and guest speakers at the Annual event include, Rev. C. T. Vivian, Attorney Dan Warren, Attorney Willie E. Gary and Leon Russell, and Honorable US Congressman John Lewis and Dr. Kathryn Fentress.
